This song starts relatively industrial styled with rather monotonous, pounding metal hammer sounds and a rather electronic notation. I deliberately wanted to compose a rather "dry" song, but I failed and could not prevent some catchy melodies again, so that the song has some kind of hymns at the end
Since I am so satisfied with my current creative process, I have decided not to put the first song on the new album. The first reason is that it is only half finished and also made with Reaper, which would mean a longer migration time to Studio One than the time I would need to write a new song. And I am sure now that this song will never be as good as all the other songs I wrote after this one.
I remembered that when I started working on the last album I also started with a song that I then discarded. It seems that I need some kind of warm-up song that will get me back in the right mood, but which is not good enough to be released.
I also noticed that apart from song 2, no song contains my usual hoarse, higher voice, but only the deep voice. This is mainly because with this album I learned how I can sing higher notes with this voice without sounding to "human" and losing the "cyborg" character of the voice. The new vocal melodies vary in pitch more than on the previous album and are in average more melodic that before. Melodies that I could not really sing with the "hoarse" vocal style so well.
