I just wanted to inform you that my 2nd song is finally going on. At first, progress was rather slow. I had a rhythm that was rather boring. So I started to compose a bass line that was also boring. To make the whole thing less boring, I started adding a slightly higher bass line, which was also boring
But then I realized that I had to change the boring rhythm. When that was done, I realized what I had to change the boring bass line to match the new drum rhythm. And so, step by step, I began to transform the boring song into an exciting one.
What is important when composing a song is that you never get too narrow-minded. No matter what you do, you always have to be flexible enough to question what you have achieved and, if necessary, simply knock it over in order to create something new.
